The Orientation Program for new students at JRG College of Pharmacy was thoughtfully designed to provide a smooth transition into college life by covering all essential aspects of academics, campus culture, and personal development. Students were introduced to the college and course structure by the Principal, along with sessions on code of conduct, academic monitoring, and examination systems to help them understand institutional expectations. They also received guidance on hostel rules, library usage, and campus facilities, including visits to laboratories, the herbal garden, central instrument room, and other key areas.

In addition, the program focused on skill development and awareness through sessions on communication skills, internet awareness, cybersecurity, and classroom etiquette. Practical knowledge was enhanced through workshops on first aid, emergency care, handling and storage of chemicals, and fire safety. Students also participated in interactive activities such as knowledge hunt, talent hunt, yoga and physical exercises, and recreational experiences like movie sessions, making the orientation engaging and holistic. Overall, the program ensured that students felt confident, informed, and well-prepared to begin their academic journey.
