The Pharmacognosy Laboratory is dedicated to the study of medicinal plants and natural products. Students engage in the extraction, isolation, and characterization of bioactive compounds from natural sources.  Research in this lab focuses on discovering new therapeutic agents and understanding the pharmacological potential of natural products. Students learn the importance of biodiversity and sustainability in pharmaceutical sciences.
