At JRG College of Pharmacy, our D.Pharm students successfully organized a Workshop on Model Drug Store as part of their practical training. The workshop focused on key aspects of community pharmacy, including prescription handling, interpretation, and dispensing of medications, followed by patient counseling sessions.
In addition, students conducted body weight check-ups, BMI calculations, blood pressure monitoring, and SpO₂ measurements, gaining valuable hands-on experience in basic clinical assessments.
The program was coordinated by students Mr. Sudhananda Maharana and Mr. Hemant Mishra, under the guidance of Prof. Soumya Ranjan Pattnaik, Prof. Jyoti Prasanna Nanda and Prof. Biswajit Biswal. This initiative helped students strengthen their clinical, communication, and patient care skills in a simulated pharmacy setting.
