Industrial visit to Jagannath Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals Works, Cuttack

the B.Pharm 3rd Semester students of JRG College of Pharmacy embarked on an enriching industrial visit to Jagannath Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals Works, Cuttack. This academic initiative was designed to bridge the gap between theoretical learning and real-world practices in the pharmaceutical industry.
With the participation of 50 students and faculty members, the visit provided valuable insights into manufacturing processes, quality control, quality assurance, and packaging. The technical team at Jagannath Pharmaceuticals warmly welcomed the group and provided a detailed tour of their facility, highlighting modern technologies, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and regulatory standards in pharmaceutical production.
Students observed the practical workings of equipment involved in tablet granulation, compression, coating, and packaging. This exposure not only deepened their understanding of the pharmaceutical industry but also inspired them to consider diverse career opportunities in the field.
The faculty extended their heartfelt appreciation to Jagannath Pharmaceuticals for making this hands-on learning experience possible.
